Dr. B - IVF Girls
I have a quick question - We're definitely going to have to do IVF and we plan on starting in the next couple of weeks. We're just waiting on some cystic fibrosis bloodwork. My friend, who did IVF elsewhere, told me that monitoring must be done in the morning. Is that true at Dr. B's office? I'm a teacher and there is no way I can do that. I would have to hold off until the summer and I don't think I can handle that. Can I do the monitoring at the last appointment at 4 or so?

Re: Dr. B - IVF Girls
Maybe her re only does monitoring in the morning, but dr. B def didnt say anything to me about it needing to be in the morning. I know they like to get bloodwork back to adjust meds, but still dr. B didnt say anything to me about that so im assuming afternoon is just as good. Good luck!!

Thanks! I'll ask him next time I'm in. I just don't like to bother him if I can help it.

Re: Dr. B - IVF Girls
Some of the bigger clinics require early monitoring between 6:30-8:00. I did two IVF's at a large clinic and I would need to go between those hours. My last one was with Dr. B and he doesnt have set hours. I think the larger ones do that in order to adjust medications if need be and maybe to get all monitoring done earlier to allow time for consults etc with the doctors. Also monitoring is done by the nurses not the doctors. Well at least that is what my old clinic did. Dr. B does all his own monitoring. Hope this helps

Re: Dr. B - IVF Girls
I babysit for a teacher who doesn't get home till 3:45 or so. I usually try and get a 4:15 or 4:30 appointment. I have a 3:45 one this Friday and I already told them I would be late. They are soo understanding there. Truly the best place to be.
