Well, it would seem like TTC #2 will be on hold for now!
Things are just a complete and total disaster. First, we're out of insurance money. My DH was going back and forth with his company and basically it ended with them saying their policy is MORE, yes more, than generous. Really??? A $10K lifetime max is more than generous????.................it doesn't even cover ONE round of IVF as Cigna requires that you have had SIX failed IUI's before moving on to IVF. Six IUI's exhausts the $10K so effectively, we never had any IVF coverage.
I was suppose to meet with LI LIVF this afternoon but then found out from them just this week that they were told that all of the grant money has been used up so since we were counting on that help (which is no longer there now) we canceled our appt. As of now we still have an appt. on Saturday with Dr. Braverman and at my BFF's encouraging I am trying to keep the appt. I emailed him to explain our situation and I will let him decide if it's worth his while to even meet with us. I don't want to waste his valuable time given our circumstances.
In the meantime I am still waiting to miscarry after being given Cytotec on Monday to force the miscarriage. They told me it was suppose to happen fairly quickly and as of now I have yet to bleed or miscarry anything. Pretty annoying. Once I do finally miscarry and my hcG is back at zero my current RE will run the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Panel to see what's been going on with us this year. Maybe then we'll have some answers, at least I hope so, not that it will do us much good at this point in time.
Once the miscarriage is over we're basically done with the RE and TTC for now. I have to kiss it up to God and hope that by some miracle I conceive on my own which is probably HIGHLY unlikely. Our hands are tied. There is no money to continue on with an RE, I can't afford thousands and thousands of medical bills now that Cigna won't cover anything, and we don't have the means right now for IVF. So with a VERY heavy heart and VERY little hope for the future I have to put our plans of another baby on hold. Until we figure out something we just can't continue on. I'm so sad and so disappointed but I'm out of options. I keep telling myself that maybe a break is good because after the emotional roller coaster of this year I'm pretty used up. I can't take any more disappointment.
In any case, I just wanted to thank everyone for all of the support these past few months and I wish everyone lots and lots of luck (and BFP's) on their TTC journey.

Oh wow. this just breaks my heart.
I'm so sorry for all this.
I hate insurance companies. That woman who was so rude to tell you that it was "very generous".... may she never know what you have to go through and just how NOT generous that amount really is. But... may she also get terrrible diarrahea today!!
I'm sorry. Hopefully it will just happen natrually and be a miracle baby. You never know.
