last weekend for Hanukkah we invited DH and my family over to exchange and we served brunch. DS was still in his PJ's. When everyone got there I said I was going upstairs to get DS dressed and put on this shirt. I let him walk around and when MIL went to pick him up she saw the writing and got sooo excited. the rest of the fam came into the den and we celebrated Image Attachment(s):

We bought each grandma to be a photo ornament frame which we will be inserting our last sono in and then we found cute Lenox ornaments that say grandma and grandpa.

we sent out xmas cards with our bulldog on it that read: I'm going to be a big brother!
The rest of the card said:
We got our Christmas wish early this year! Here's to you getting your wish too!
Baby due in June!

I love this idea and wish we could have done something similar, but it would mean announcing to everyone so early.

we have already told our parents and siblings, so on christmas we are going to tell aunts, uncles and cousins. i will be nearly 12 weeks by then. my mother thinks i should make some big proclamation, but i would prefer to just tell people in conversation, casually. i dont like making too much of a spectacle of myself, even though i am SO EXCITED to share our news.

We will be be telling DH's parents and sisters on Christmas eve and my parents and brother Christmas day. I bought little onsies that that say I love grandma & grandpa and ones that say I love my aunt and I love my uncle. We plan to give these as the last of the gifts when we are opening presents!
I can't wait!!
