nook cover
Does the nook come with any type of cover when you purchase it? I will have it in my bag most of the time and don't want it to get scratched up. Do I have to purchase a cover separately?

Nope....no cover. Be careful buying one, it depends on what nook you have.
I wanted the Kate Spade store design for my cover, but that particular one only works with the nook, and I have the Nookcolor.
So I got this one:

I wanted the regular Nook so that won't fit mine. 
I think I'm going to get a Madison Trifold, but it doesn't come in orange.

Noreve Nook covers come in orange. They are shipped from France so it takes a little longer to get them, but I think they are beautiful. I also really like the clips they have to keep the Nook in place.

I don't think so. The Madison is the only one I can think of that does. None of mine do and it's not a big deal, they fold back and I hold them like a regular book or I have an easel style that the cover flips back it stands up so I don't have to hold the Nook at all which I like if I'm reading while eating.

So I've test driven the Madison and I honestly I am not sure I'm loving it. It's not super flexible and great it snaps behind but it's cumbersome to unsnap and close it up. I think I may get the orange one you posted.

I have the Madison - when I got my nook last year there wasn't as wide a selection. I have to say with wear and tear, snapping it back isn't so cumbersome anymore but it still looks good and is holding up well.

Eeeeek!! It will be $70. DH might kill me. On to search for another orange option.
ETA: I was almost going to splurge but then the shipping was $20. I could almost get another Nook for as much as the cover 
I'm bummed. I want an orange leather case so bad

How does the canvas hold up? I worry about it getting dirty. I know I will always have my Nook on the go with me.
The Madison has grown on me I guess but I really want a cover I love.
