LOL. I just got off the phone with the mom of a kid I tutor. She's on the job, too  and has yet to unzip her briefcase from last Thursday.
I myself did not bother bringing work home as I knew I was going to savor every freaking moment of this break.

I intended to go to Staples and make photocopies for the play we're reading, since the photocopy ladies at schooll won't make copies of a whole book.
Not only did I NOT make copies, I have no clue where the book is. I'll search for it tomorrow while getting ready

I brought NOTHING home. I got most of my planning done before break. This has literally been the most relaxing vacation. The only work related thing I did was transfer my ppts files from my computer to my jump drive.

I didn't have off last week (although we did get 3 snow days-yay!). Since I didn't anticipate having off I didn't bring work home...had I though it would have never gotten done!

I have to say, I enjoy my breaks so much more now that I plan around vacations. Before I was married and a mom I lugged home stuff every break- then when it was over I was either resentful because I worked over break or guilty because I did nothing. Now I have to put in a little more time after school (and because of the train schedule I am here anyway!) but I just had to review my plans this morning. It is so much more restful!
