Anya, you quoted Lisa there. But I was banned also. Not only banned but totally deleted, when admin tried to reinstate my account she ended up deleting it. All of my posts were erased...all that work, all that typing...poof!

Hey can I be considered "old school". I am always lurking around here but guess I have been to lazy to post.. Gosh I think the last time I posted pics of the kids Kyle was barely a year old and now he just turned 3!!!!!!

I remember GT, I just faded away from there even though i was a moderator.

And I was richsbride starting on 2001....I got banned from LIW was invited to come back but never did,

I would consider myself semi old school. Joined LIW in 03, married in 05. Joined LIF on the first day!

I barely have time to post anymore but I lurk occasionally.

Changed it to Caseygirl over here after my puppy girl...

I remember the "IM" feature....and the top posters.

Ahh I logged on tonight after having a conversation about LIFs today and found this! What a great thread, Noreen!

I was an '04 bride who joined LIWs in 2003 to plan my wedding and made some lifelong friends in the process

Then I joined LIFs the day it launched! (we couldn't wait for this site to go live, since we were all "so sick of posting on a wedding website" .. lol

I wasn't as 'old school' as some, but I actually remember so many of you from LIWs when I was just a newbie - I used to read but was terrified and too scared to post on the NWR board when I first signed up Then one day I got up the nerve to post, and the NWR board became the first place I'd log onto every morning when I got to work. I made some of my best friends there, and the days/nights I spent chatting on NWR were some truly FUN times

I haven't posted here in a long time; I sort of lost momentum and couldn't keep up when I had my son.. but I do lurk a lot to keep up with all the girls I planned my wedding with, and esp. those I went through my pregnancy with..

I truly miss the good old days

I was married in 98. LIW was a very basic site at that time.

Hi everyone!!!

I have been around for a loooonnng time, although I mostly lurk now.

I got engaged in 2000 and joined LIW in 2001 I think. Pretty sure my old sn was Melissa27.

I was on GT for awhile but then left because of all the BS. LOL.

I went to ONE get together, it was with Claud, Anna, Liz...I think someone else, too. We went to White Post Farms when all the kiddos were still in strollers. I can't believe I have a 5 & 7 year old now!!

So many memories!!

I started on LIW in 2002 and got married in 2004, and moved to LIF the day it went live.

Some great times! Can't believe it's almost my 10 year anniversary with LIW/LIF.

I guess I can be considered old school as well....
I joined in 2002, after hearing Christy talking about it. Then I got married in 2004 and stuck around until LIF started. I tried to fight the urge and didn't sign up for LIF right away.....but eventually I gave in and joined. And here we are today.
