Yet Another Nook Question

I am slowly but surely getting the hang of this thing. I did not realize there would be a wait to get a book from the library, so that is a little irksome.

But my ?? is. I did finally manage to figure out how to get a borrowed library book onto my computer and then to my nook. If I delete the book from my laptop to save space (before I read the book so before the 14 days are up), will it delete from the nook? If I can't I assume I can def do it after the 14 day time period right?

Finally the book I got says it has 263 pages, however if I look at the book on line it has 340 pages. Did I get the whole book? Or is it one of those "free" books from bn.com that really only gives you part of the book.

Did I confuse you guys yet?
Thanks!

If you delete it from your computer I think it will still work on the Nook as long as you don't hook the Nook up to the computer. I'm not sure, I've never done that before. You can def. remove it after the 14 days, in fact I return the book from both the borrowed bookshelf and the Nook on ADE and it removes it from both places for me.

Not sure about the number of pages thing. Where did you look online to see the number of pages?

BTW, not all the free books from BN are samples, I have a lot of complete books from them. It is annoying when they don't label them as samples.

Re: Yet Another Nook Question

the book is The Beach House by Jane Green. I saw it on ebay and they give you the # of pages in the listing. I saw it on a few of them.

That's weird. I've never had a problem with a library book being short pages, hopefully yours isn't either. That would be so frustrating!
