When did you stop working?
I'm almost at my 20th week and I don't know how much longer I can stand up and teach! I'm constantly short of breath and dizzy (which my doctor said is common). Did anyone stop work early because of this? Was anyone able to work until the end? I have so many sick days banked...I don't know what to do...

Re: When did you stop working?
I am a teacher as well and I had to leave work April 2nd, was due September 30th but delivered August 4. I had cervical issues so it didn't leave me much choice.

Re: When did you stop working?
i was put on a modified bedrest at 22 weeks. best decision that was ever made for me.
i got to rest and take care of myself - i was also on complete bedrest from 31-37 weeks but it all paid off my boys were 5.4 lbs and 6.4 lbs and i made it to 37 weeks!

At 34 weeks started preterm labor. I worked until about 34.5 weeks and then worked from home until the baies were born at 36w6d. Hang in there!

I worked from home from 26-33.5 weeks. Went on leave after that, delivered at 36 weeks.

Re: When did you stop working?
Thank you all so much for your responses. I have my Level II sonogram on Tuesday...I can't wait to find out what they are!! I also want to see what my OB-Gyn and the high risk doctor that I'm seeing want me to do. I know I'm only half way there but I'm definitely standing too much at work and it's making me dizzy!

Re: When did you stop working?
I worked until I was 36 weeks and delivered at 37w 5d. The last month I definitely spent a lot more time sitting then I used to and I drove into work instead or taking the train.

Re: When did you stop working?
I teach kindergarten... Im 34 weeks now and my dr. said i need to slow down. So I started working 1/2 days this week and Im going to call it quits after february break. I'll be 37 weeks then and the babies are scheduled for a c-section the following week. Im very lucky though because I have a full day aide and a 1/2 day special ed teacher that pushes into my room. I do a lot of small group work sitting at a table.
