Team Green to team pink/blue???
Hi Girls,
I figured this was the best place to ask this question since you are all mommies here. I am going for my Level II sono next week and DH and I were all for being team green until a few days ago!!! We both are feeling like "well since we can find out now its hard not to". I just want to know if any of you changed your minds to find out the sex around 20 weeks, and if you regretted not waiting until the birth.
TIA!!

Re: Team Green to team pink/blue???
We were going to wait. I preggo w/#2. We decided a few days before to find out. We were having a difficult time with names, so we thought finding out would narrow it down for us. I don't regret it one bit. It was such an exciting moment for us. It will still be exciting when we see him, so the way I look @ it, it's 2 thrilling parts of pregnancy/childbirth :)

Re: Team Green to team pink/blue???
In the beginning I did not want to find out but DH so what we did was when we went to the Level II we had them write down on a piece of paper what the sex was then put it in an envelope to be opened at a later date or not at all. We didn't want the tech to tell us we wanted it to be just us. For DS I still wanted it to be a surprise but once you know that you have it written down somewhere trying not to open it was really hard. So what we did was we went out to dinner and we opened it up there. Since we told everyone what the sex was we decided not to tell about the name. Then with DD we did the same thing had the tech write it down then dinnner but this time we did not tell anyone that it was a girl and for my other DD we tried to find out sooo many times but she was either in the fetal position and they couldn't see or her arm was in the way. so we didn't know until she was born. I do not regret it at all. Whether you find out at the Level II or when the baby is born it is still a surprise at some point.
Good Luck to you!!!!!

Re: Team Green to team pink/blue???
With my third, I did not want to find out since we already had one boy and one girl.
DH REALLY wanted to know. We agreed we would find out and I would get to pick the name
I do regret it bc most likely I would have picked the name and I would have LOVED to hear "It's a GIRL!" in the Operating Room
If we have a fourth, it WILL be a surprise!

I agree- we had the best time on team green and it was so exciting for our family & friends- everyone was waiting with baited breath- people were betting against each other- it was a good time and the only way I would do it for any future kids

Re: Team Green to team pink/blue???
Never regretted finding out for a second, and the moment my kids were the born was absolutely amazing. And I know it will be the same for this one.
