rude things people find it necessary to tell pregos today
Today i got told that my hips got really big!!
trying to brush it off i said "ugh yeah i know everything is getting big..i am huge" and i actually felt bad saying i felt huge because she was huge and not pregnant!
but then i thought why do i feel bad when she obvi did not feel bad for telling me my hips got really big!!!
really tho! why do people think that its ok to say things like that???

Some people honestly cannot help themselves...they are just stupid by nature... I had someone (who I am not a huge fan of to begin with) tell me, "Wow, you really look pregnant" as she grabbed my love handles... I so badly wanted to say "So do you".

back a few months ago, the woman who told me "Oh,you're pregnant? i was JUST thinking that you looked like you put on weight" is actually pretty heavy herself... bigger than me even while I'm pregnant. So, yeah, why would you think its ok to say something rude about me when I never say anything rude about you? It's stupidity. Simple as that.

I know some little tiny young girl who was working at the gym said "my god - that belly is huge- he must be a huge baby!"
and I said. ."Um he's a full term 40 week baby he's the size he's supposed to be"
I really used to be better at responding and now I just get grumpy!

some people have no social skills what so ever. i know someone at work who makes inappropriate comments about pregnancy all the time... i called out sick b/c of a doctor's appointment and she asked me quite directly if i had morning sickness- at the time i was 6 weeks and literally just found out. i still haven't told anyone at work (i'll be 12 weeks next week)... very inappropriate!

My co worker likes to tell me "you look tired" or "your eyes are puffy" so I told him, well you basically always look like shiit so shutup

It's amazing what the closest family members will say and that even strangers don't hold back.
A Family member constantly says "wow, you're really growing!" She says it even when I see her a few times a week.

My coworker told me first thing in the am, wow you got big! Before she even said good morning. I was like thanks. Than she said it's a good thing. Yea it is, but who the helll wants to hear that!?

I was told by a sono tech I had an unphotogenic uterus today (AKA: she was trying to tell me I was chunky and she couldn't get the right measurements)

Diff people say all sorts of things to me. For the most part, I don't think it's really offensive. I mean, if I got "you got fat," that'd be ridiculous... But when people say "you just keep getting bigger & bigger" or "your hips got wider," they're really just responding to the first thing they notice... like if I got a new haircut. And really, I do keep getting bigger & bigger, & my hips did get wider, so they're not far off. LOL. I dunno. I used to say those things b4 I was preggo... and I don't take them as negatives now. My hips got wider, so maybe my body is preparing well for a natural L&D.  Anyone feel this way?

So far I haven't gotten any rude comments... although we've only been out to friends and extended family for a week. 
The closest thing is having people tell me their unsolicited advice on where we should move to after the baby comes and what they think we should do as far as childcare, but I've just started ignoring them and I think they mean well.
Edit: Just thought of a rude comment we got constantly when we first came out! Soooooooo many people asked us if this pregnancy was planned. It was, although we were happily surprised it happened so quickly. And even if it wasn't, it's none of your dammn business.

My grandmother is okay making comments about my blotchy teenager face but asked my parents in a low voice (in front of me) if I knew my uncle's dog died. If you think I'm THIS sensitive (which I'm not, I knew) then why the heck would you point out the physical things that I WOULD be sensitive about?!
