If you have had sinus surgery recently (without packing)...
How was the recovery? It looks like I will most likely be having this surgery in the near future and I'm thinking for planning purposes (I have 2 young kids) - how many days I will not feel good for? Like, will I need DH to take off the day after? Few days after? etc. TIA!
Also, tell me everything - how it was during, after, and did the surgery make a big difference for you?
TIA!
ETA: To clarify - I am having a deviated septum repaired, turbinate repaired and blockages (in the ethmoid) cleared.

I had this done. I had all of the things you mentioned plus I had a deviated septum and had a slight bump on my nose that I wasn't happy about (from the twisted septum). So basically I had a nosejob to be blunt.
This was years ago, over 10, and the recovery was ok. I was black and blue and very swollen. The packing was awful to be honest, I felt like I could not breathe. That was the worst part. But I have to be extremely honest with you. Not one bit of it improved my breathing at all. I still feel stuffed and nasal all the time, and still sound nasal often too.
Are you dead set on doing this surgery? I wish I could say it helped me but it did not. The only thing that was the positive outcome was I have a perfectly straight nose (profile view) now, which I did want.
