Things to do with toddlers on the weekends
Hi there! I just found this board. How exciting!
I work during the week and it seems like all the library storytimes, classes, etc. are geared around SAHMs and during the week.
Can anyone recommend things to do with a 2 year old - especially inside things until the weather gets nicer - on the weekends? I'm in Melville so not too far away...
And separately, when the weather DOES finally get warm, what's your favorite playground in this area?

My parents live in Huntington.
My absolute favorite place is White Post Farms. We love that place.

Most districts have a class here or there on a Saturday, or even evenings. What SD are you zoned for? Also you can try My Gym in Huntington and see what weekend classes they have.

The library should have classes for young children, such as mommy and me. Sometimes they will have nights or weekends. Check their website or call them.

We do LICM, the firefighter museum, we go to the library, le play cafe, take free trial classes and meetup.com for playdates with others In nicer weather we always do the park all day long!
