Hi ladies,

What was your LO's heart rate at ike 7 1/2 weeks? Is it true at that different times of the day, it can measure different and if you ate something, it will be higher. Just checking.

I'm still seeing my RE. He said anything between 120 and 160 at 7 weeks is great. Our bean was 146. Yesterday at just over 8 weeks it was 162.

Re: Baby's heartrate

my LO was always 157 everytime I went to the dr. As they grow it slows down a bit. Now at 39 weeks his hb is in the upper 120s and hits the 160s when he moves around....I've been having non-stress tests thats why I know his rate at this point.

As they get bigger the heart rate slows down but will increase when they flip around and play in there.

Everytime I go, Chat Icons HB is around 145-150. I'm not sure what they said it should be around 7w.

Chat Icon was always 170+
twin Chat Icon s have always been around 140

Yes, there HB can vary. When they are resting/sleeping it is slower and when they are active it is quicker.

Re: Baby's heartrate

170 is normal. My doctor said the majority of them are around that up until 14 weeks. At 12 weeks, the baby's hr was 173. At 16 weeks, it was just 150.

Re: Baby's heartrate

I've been keeping a record of all my numbers:

At 6w, it was 128 bpm (and about the size of a poppy seed, the sono tech told us!)
At 7w, it was 165
At 10w, it was 174

I have a fetal doppler at home now with a digital readout of the heartrate, and ever since 13 or 14 weeks, it's been pretty consistently in the 150's.
