Bike for a 6 year old
My son is still in his Kettler...
Can anyone recommend your kid's bike? We desperately need to get him a new one and his birthday is in 2 weeks!!!!

we got our son a bike from a local shop, the brand it trex. its a great bike, will grow with him until about 8-9 years old

How old is your son? My DH was a bike tech for a long time and is still really into bikes so I can ask him for you what is a good bike to get.

Thank you! How much was it, if you don't mind me asking.
i think it was between 200-300$, i might be wrong about the 8-9 - it might be closer to 6-7. DS got it a few months before 3 years. he is going on 5 and he will still get a few more years out of it.

We just hopped down to TRU and let them try on different bikes for size.. then bought the ones in our price range that they liked. WE probably paid about $100 or less each. They've had their current bikes for about 3-4 years - but Robbie will need a new one this year.
