Uppa Baby Vista
For those that have the Uppa, when did you first put DC in the seat part? DD is almost 3 months and I don't think she is quite ready for it, but i haven't used the bassinet since she was about 5 weeks old. I want her to see the world and not stare at the sky. I pretty much use my snap n go, even for outside walks, because I prefer her propped up. I know I can get the car seat adapter, but I'd like to "use what I paid for" at some point soon! I'm beginning to wonder if getting the Uppa was a mistake, because I feel like when DC will fit into it well it would be easier to just use a city mini or mclaren....

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
I put DS in when he was 6 months old.
However, it would have been earlier when he was able to sit up without little assistance and held his head up had it not been for the cold weather.
So it wasn't until about a month ago that we were able to go outside and use the stroller again.

Your uppa baby seat has more support than the city mini. I would hold off on city mini till your dc is 9+ months only because my ds hated the city mini till got bigger.
If anything I regret getting the 2010 city mini

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
I used the adapter till she was 5 months and then moved to the big seat. I still use the stroller all the time. The Maclaren has a horribly small under carriage so I always take the uppa shopping with me.

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
I used the bassinet function until 6 months. After that we used the seat, and he has been using it since. I love this stoller! We use the maclaren on short trips, but not that fond of it.

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
Have to just say I HATE my UPPA BABY VISTA! Closing it is impossible and to think you spend so much $ on something and to stress to close it is ludicrous to me
In fact, my DD is 2.5 years old and I just bought the 2011 City Mini:)
I think I will try and sell my Uppa Baby Vista so if anyone is interested, let me know. It's GENTLY used:)

Re: Uppa Baby Vista
I returned my snap n go and used the Uppa frame with the car seat adapter for 7mth and then started using the seat.
Now as my dd is getting bigger 19mth the Uppa is definitely more comfortable for him.
