Baby Modeling
Has anyone tried to get their child into modeling? I took my lo to a meeting at Wilhelmina for the kids division and a few days later we received a contract in the mail. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience. And if so, what's next? Do they give a contract to everyone they see? I would find it incredibly difficult to say no to all the cuties out there.
I would really appreciate any insight. Thanks!

Re: Baby Modeling
No, I don't think they would bother asking you to go in to see them if they didn't think you baby is model material.
When I went, they took some pics of DS for his porttfolio and signed him on the spot. Whether you actually get assignments are a different story though... During my DS' short stint as a model (I had to return to work so couldn't keep taking him on casting calls) we went to about 6 and landed 2 gigs.
The pay is decent (I made about $600 for the 2 gigs) but I won't do it again for a variety of reasons.
The next step is they will call you (sometimes same day) to go on casting calls.
