Picky eaters.... there is HOPE!!!
OMG. We got a "break through" this week.
DS has only been eating the Gerber toddler/preschooler meals for the past 2 years. With yogurt and apple sauce. Seriously! REFUSING to eat anything else. WORST picky eater EVER.
No pizza, no bread, no meat, no mac&cheese, no hotdogs. No cheese. You name it. Complete nightmare!
His school started about 3 months ago to do a "food project" once a week. The OT started to ask parents to bring table food/veggies. Progress was so so.
The teacher has asked me to bring table food for DS in addition to the Gerber food.
Monday: chicken
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thurday: Spinash meatballs (I made too many!! )
Friday: pizza
Well he ate it all. Lots of gagging in the beginning but the teacher helped feed him and finally he did it.
He is finally willing to try it even if he does not want it afterwards.
He ate a whole fruit twist tonight that he completely refused 6 months ago.
So proud of my little man!!!!
