Confused. Need advice ***UPDATE AT TOP*****

I have been 3 days passed my period. I never get it later. Ever.

I have had every sign of PG. Not "phantom" signs, but REAL signs for the past 2 weeks.

Today I had some cramps and now I am bleding red with clots. I'm EXHAUSTED and have a real loss of apetite, despite feeling like crap.

Could this be a chemical?

Just looking for some hugs and thoughts.

Should I call the doctor tomorrow?

**UPDATE***
So the doctor examined me and took blood yesterday. She did an internal and THOUGHT she felt some cysts on my ovary. (They did an internal exam and found it was just follacles).

I was NOT pg.

I am telling you all that what I was experiencing was NOT normal for me, ever. I had ALL the signs. What me and DH think was that, maybe, the egg got fertalized but never "took". That would explain some of the weirdness that happened. But the blood test officially said I was NOT pg.

Thank you ll for all your hugs and thoughts. Its been an emotional rollercoater. I guess its on to next month now.

I'm sorry. Have you taken a HPT? Last month I had a chemical. I only got a positive HPT when AF was 3 days late, and began bleeding 3 days later with cramping.

I also got very sick--weak, vomiting, diarrhea (sorry, TMI), exhausted--for one day.

But I've also heard of girls that bleed and continue with a pregnancy. I would definitely call your dr. in the am. He may have you come in for bloodwork.

I had a chemical, BFP at 12dpo and then started AF 4 days later. If you were pregnant, you might still have HCG in your system. If you feel you want to know, call the Dr. and tell them you want bloodwork to know if you were pregnant just to give you peace of mind.

HPT was negative, but I can TELL you I was (am??) pg. all the signs were there.

I was EXHAUSTED yesterday. Feel like crap today.

I had some red blood with clumps, now some brown sludge. (sorry TMI).

Gonna call the doctor today. I feel like shizz today.

AF symptoms are pretty much identical to pregnancy symptoms. I wouldn't read into symptoms much at all, because it can drive you nuts thinking you are pregnant when you may not have been.

I think you might have just had a period that was a couple days late, especially if you tested and got a BFN.

The symptoms you described could be either. Looking at the big picture- does it really matter whether it's a chemical vs. a late period? If you got a BFN on a HPT, then just see it as a late period.

It's very painful emotionally to get a BFP only to start to bleed and lose it- even if it is only a few days later. Looking back, I wish like hell that I had refrained from POAS because it just sucked seeing a BFP and then start bleeding and watching those BFPs slowly fade away.

Be thankful you didn't have to experience that.

I wouldn't get worked up - it sounds like it's just your period, especially if you tested negative on an HPT. I believe with a chemical pregnancy you would get a positive on a HPT.

Havng a miscarriage was one of the hardest things I've had to go through so I don't wish that upon anyone...I hope you are just a few days late with your period and everything is ok!

For me, its the not knowing whats going on. I COULD just have my period, absolutly.

This is a good lesson that we should ALWAYS trust our bodies and what we thinnk, even its wrong.

So I will find out tommorrow whats going on and will update.

You really are an amazing group of women and I wish only love and on you all.

Glad you got some answers -- but remember...when it comes to TTC, things that you swear are "normal" or not normal will happen.

The stress of TTC can make your body be out of whack and you will read into any symptom thinking that it means something when it doesn't.

Now that you are actively TTCing you will find that things you swear are not normal could happen randomly during different cycles. So try your best not to wrap yourself up in "symptoms" because no two months can be the same.


ETA: An egg has to implant in order for it to give you pregnancy symptoms....and therefore you would have had some sort of hcg in your system to indicate that you could have been pregnant. So the idea that you could have had a fertilized egg that didn't "take" -- and thus caused the symptoms wouldn't be right.

I'm sorry about what you're going through.

I agree with the other ladies that you notice symptoms when you are TTC that you swear are not normal and you can convince yourself that you are pregnant.

Try to write down all of the unusual symptoms you had this time (and for all future 2WW's). That way when you get a weird symptom you can look back and see that it's actually NOT all that weird for you. It won't mean that you're not pregnant, it will just help you to keep things in perspective.

When I was TTC I swore that I was pregnant sometimes - and I was shocked by the BFN. I was nauseous, exhausted, hungry, etc. The month that I actually did get a BFP I had zero symptoms. None at all.

Our bodies work in crazy ways. I'm sure you're happy to not have been pregnant and lost it, so that must be a huge relief for you!

I could have SWORN I was PG. I really did. I'm glad I also didnt have to go through loosing a pregnancy. I know how hard it must be for all you ladies on her and dont wish that pain on anyone.

Thanks for ALL the advice and worsds of wisdom. Next month, if I think i'm pg, I wont take ONE test till after AF is due.
