OPK and FMU
Why can't you use FMU????
If I do will it totally throw everything off? I drink ALOT of water during the day, so I don't think I would be able to hold it for 4 hours to test around 6. I also can't test before 2-5 because I am at work.

I use the OPK twice a day- once with FMU and then again in the afternoon. I always get my smiley with FMU- never got it in the afternoon. I think the idea behind not relying on FMu is the LH surge happens in the afternoon.

I've just read how everyone says to do it in the afternoon so I don't know How many days have you been testing? Hopefully you get your  soon.

I could never hold it in long enough to use any test made for the afternoon!!!

Thank you! I bought the internet cheapies for this month. If that doesn't work I'll try the CBE ones.

Its not that you CANT use FMU... most OPKs will say that you can... it just seems to be more accurate with afternoon Urine

ITA. You may want to try using FMU (CBEdigital) and then try to test again in the evening.

I *think* its because the LH hormone is concentrated with FMU and it can give you a false reading. Dont quote me on that. However, with the the clearblue OPK it says to use FMU, go figure.

You can definitely go with the CBE digital next month. Also, I tried CVS store brand ones last month when I ran out, and while they recommended the afternoon it said you could use FMU if you wanted.

I thought it was because you often surge in the morning and it is usually detected in the afternoon. I tested with fmu got a neg then in the afternoon and got a positive and then positive the next morning.
