Show me your banister
I am thinking of doing a banister with a darker finish than the hardwood floors. Does anyone have something like this in their home? I wasn't sure whether to go dark (like espresso) vs. cherry. The hardwood will be stained a golden color. TIA!

we have cherry floors downstairs, and a golden oak upstairs. Our banister is mahogany.
