yes, I know I have 3, but it's really just the 2 boys that are the problem, Zoey is perfect, as always! LOL!
How do you keep your grass going in the backyard???
The boys have totally killed a 20 x 20 section in the middle of the yard - the dirt is compacted so much it's like a rock. I have fenced it off and we have to turn it all over and replant a hearty grass. Also - I have zoysia in one section of the yard that is doing very well. I think I might dig a patch up of that, cut in 1x1 squares and transplant it to the other area and see if it takes and spreads.

We take them running around the neighborhood and to the dog park so they get their energy out and play there, and don't tear up our lawn as much.

I just accept that certain areas will be grass-free and do my best. I seed with the right grass for the sun exposure too. Zoysia is great grass but I read that it's not good for high traffic areas. You could absolutely take "plugs" of Zoysia and install them elsewhere, I've done that too. Get as much roots as you can if you do.

As much as I would love to do that, I can't handle all 3 at the same time, and my DH is recovering from ACL surgery, he just started walking without limping recently. I try to take them out 1 at a time, but sometimes there just isn't time for all 3 in one day, and they are big, 90 lbs, 75 lbs and 70 lbs.
