Another TTC Question

when you know you are about to ovulate or are ovulating how often do you BD???

Is it every day or every other day?? I am still new to this and don't want to over do it....does it really matter??

Yes, I too heard every other day. My MOH who has been TTC for some time suggested on day 10 BD, day 11 no BD, say 12 BD, day 13 no BD, day 14 BD and day 15 no BD. She said it also gives the sperm time to get to where it needs to go.

The Day # is of your cycle. I didn't know this I am new to TTC. Day 10 is supposed to = the first day you ovulate. I calculated mine to be July 15, as my period will start July 4.

if your DH has a low-sperm count (that you know about and have had checked) then they suggest every other day. If you believe everything is working just fine in his sperm making department, then I would go at it every day if at all possible.

This past month DH and I did every other day, because that's what worked for us.

Our doc told us that sperm count goes down with every ejaculation whether there is a documented issue or not. This is not over a long time, but if you are going to BD every day to conceive, the first time will certainly have more "power" (for lack of a better word) than the second or third or fourth even if it is the next day.
