bikram yoga?
does it really help you loose weight and tone up? i've got about 10 lbs of baby weight i want to loose asap!!

yes! you can burn up to 1000 cals if working to your max.
you def. lose inches, too

Yes. But I think like anything else, you still need to watch your diet and also go at least 3-4x a week (preferably more) to notice a major difference.

I have been practicing off and on for 3 years. I have been going consistently for the past 6 months, and tweaked my diet. I've lost about 12 lbs through hot yoga, and changing my eating habits. No gym, running, etc.
Most importantly: what you put in your body will affect how you feel during and after the classes.

thanks ladies! dont know if i can make it 3 or 4 times a week though...1 or 2 is more like it for me with two little kids! i'll give it a shot i think!

It's tough, I hear ya. I have a 2.5 year old.
I mostly attend the 8PM class during the week and try to get in one weekend class.
It's so hard for me this time of year though, because it's DS busy season at work, so if he gets home late, I can't go.
I so wish there was a class around 7:30 in the morning so I could go before work. There's only a 6:15 or a 9-something which don't work.
