Is anyone else sad that the year is over?
I'm excited for the summer, but I really liked my class this year. It's going to be hard to say goodbye today!

I'm just sad bc this was my first year and I am loosing my posiiton bc of "budget constraints"

I am really going to miss my kids- I taught them for 2 years and really liked most of them.

I am going to miss my kids A LOT .. but I worked closely with this one woman who I will not miss AT ALL!!!!! I'm counting down the days because of her!!

I tried so hard not to cry when I said goodbye to my kids today! But some of them noticed I was getting teary, so they all gave me a group hug, and then I couldn't help but cry!  I was so lucky to have such an awesome group of sweet children this year, and I will definitely miss them.

I can relate- it's kind of sad when there are adults you can't wait to get away from! There is one teacher who made me want to rip my hair out for most of the year and I have to work with her again next year.

I am indifferent this year. My students were okay, but can not compare to the amazing ones I had the year before.

Yes. I had the most wonderful class and my time with them was shortened (maternity leave-no complaints!) but they were a wonderful group. Just sweet kids.

I have had my kids for 3 yrs. There are some that I will miss so much, I do not even want to think about it. But at 26w pregnant and with the heat in our building I am ready for the year to end.

Yes, I had a great year!! I was very lucky to have such a wonderful group of students this year after a tough one last year. The bright side is, my principal moved me up to 2nd grade and 10 of them will be with me again.

I had an amazing year. Such great kids...I'm really going to miss them!
But I'm glad it's over because I love the free time with my daughter and husband!

I need this break SO BADLY.
NC teachers work extremely hard for almost no money. We take our own kids to recess. We eat at the lunch table with our kids. And two days per week, we get no break because our kids don't have a specials class.
It was also my first year working in a Title I school.
I think this year nearly killed me. My kids were wonderful...but I went over the edge a few times. Had my very first panic attack. And had no time for my kids and husband, let alone myself.
I, for one, am glad the year is over.
