Litter box recommend yours...
I have 2/ 2 year old cats that have been sharing a closed litter box. One is now going outside of the box and the vet recommended having 2 boxes. Do you recommend open or closed. I have a small apartment and they have to go in the kitchen. Has anyone tried those fancy self cleaning ones? TIA

I recommend an open box due to my cat will not go in the closed one.

I have two cats and they both use one litter box, it's an open one, tried the closed one, they just didn't take too..I also clean the box everyday....

we have this box. Its great because my cat digs and digs and it keeps the litter in.
Oh its a tidy cat litter box

We had an open litter box but discovered that my cat was missing the box and , the urine has seeped through the carpet and wood. We have to replace the entire wood floor of the closet because that is the only way to get the smell out.
We just switched to the Booda Dome. Its pretty big and has really good reviews.
