How long post partum did you use the peri bottle
at home? DS is 3 weeks and it just is an extra thing for me to have to do each time I go the bathroom and with 3 kids I don't have lots of extra time but I don't want to stop too soon and develop an issue.

I did it for a couple of weeks-- I don't remember exacttly how long-- but I did it as long as I felt I needed to.

first week home, just enough for stitches to heal. plus it was a nice refresher...but as long as you feel comfy wiping as you normally would you should be fine at this point

It's a bottle they give you in the hospital with a water bottle type pop up thingy that you put warm water in and squirt yourself with down there. It cleans you up and also soothes the area a bit. It's hard to wipe after giving birth, so this gives a bit of relief.

I used it until I could wipe without pain. I also bought witch hazel wipes. That cooled any irritation that I had down there.

Over 5 weeks. I tore very badly.
Now I sometimes use it to give DD a little shower in her bath lol.

I'm fully healed now 14 days post partum, and I still use it. I'm not bleeding nearly as much as the first three days but it definitely refreshes me between showers.

I think I'm the minority here but only a few days. I didnt even need to use it when I got home and I tore!! I felt fine after a few days.

I didn't use it the first week I was home, then used it the second week along with the numbing spray when I was still in pain. I only used it for a little while though because I only had internal stitches.

I had a 3rd degree tear so I used it for about 6 or 7 weeks. Between that, the numbing spray, the tucks cream and pads it took me forever each time I used the bathroom!!!

Somewhere between 5 and 6 weeks. I used it until a few days before my 6wk check up. I had a pretty nasty tear and was scared to wipe lol
