I tore min e a few mths ago. I got 2 opinions, both of which said to leave it alone. It is much better now, having done nothing. But PT can be done also. I hear surgery isnt really rec for a meniscus. Get some opinions.

Dh is convinced that every pain he has will lead to surgery. He gets opinions for PT and meds and does it for a little while and then does nothing and begins to complain again.
He's miserable. Surgery, PT and meds have all been put out there. He's been in pain well over a year.

DH was supposed to have it, but hearing some of the stories of people who've had it done, he opted not to.
Some people said they were worse off after the surgery and the recovery time is really long.

my gf says she is worse off now after surgery and wishes she never did it.
i tore my left one a couple years ago and left it alone. still hurts like heck sometimes but eh.
