What Playtex Drop In size nipple for oatmeal cereal

Our GI doctor recommended adding 2 tsps/4oz of Beachnut Oatmeal Cereal to my 7 week old sonsformula due to reflux.

Anyone have a better experience with Level 2 or 3?

I think they MIGHT sell a cross cut nipple for situations like this.
If they don't, you can always make the nipple a hole a bit larger with a sharp knife

My son is now 11 week old we did have dr brown bottle same Amount rice to formula and we use level 2 took a while and he would get frustrated so we now use level 3. Y cut one in our experience to much was drowning him there for making him vomit more. Level 2 I would take safety pin sterilize and then widen whole a bit and then re sterilize. Fm if any questions. This is one he'll of a battle we are having. Also don't be surprised of oatmeal seem to be causing him to cough and clear throat cause of grains. We now do rice and seems so much better. the Y vent but I felt they were TOO big.

I would use the level 2 and try not to make it too thick.

We saw a GI through Good Sam Pediatrics in Babylon. He recommended oatmeal because we also have milk protein allergy with continued blood in his stool and rice Vance constipating. We are on Neocate and that can be constipating in itself. We don't need any additional poop issues! Lol
