petco vaccanations
Does anyone get their pets done there? Its sooo much cheaper than bringing them to the vet but I'm not sure if for some reason I should just go to the vet

I do. A vet does quick check up and then gives shots you need. Go early!!!! I have been going for yrs.

Re: petco vaccanations
We take Casey to Petco because its cheap, I think we paid $65 for all the shots. We then take the paper work to the vet's office and they keep it on file. She does go to the vets office for a checkup but its just cheaper to have petco do the shots.

Re: petco vaccanations
We JUST started using them for our 3 dogs. $160.00 for everything we need. Shots, heartworm test and pills. I'm hooked! I would recommend getting there real early or, getting there about 45 minutes before it ends. DH got there on time with 1 of our dogs and he had a loooong wait. We went the next month with another one of our dogs and got there about an hour or so before it ended and we only waited a few minutes.

Re: petco vaccanations
They are great!
My only word of wisdom is you have to be very proactive and know what shots you want bc they try to push the biggest packages onto people.
I was there once and an elderly man who said his house burned down and they had no records for his dog so their solution was to just give their dog the entire vaccination package "to be on the safe side"

Re: petco vaccanations
I use them also beware, their is an older man who will tell you about the dog...My dog is a little dog always has been 11 lbs and the first year they told us he was too heavy and the second year they told us he was too skinny....the dog always has weighed the same amount.
Shots good, take the advice with a grain of salt.
