Measuring a week behind?
I got AF on July 10 so thought I was 5 weeks yesterday. Went to dr today and am measuring 4 weeks, 1 day. I had a MC earlier this summer, so of course I am freaking out. Did this happen to anyone else? Sono tech did say that I could have O'd later or maybe it was a late implanter. I go back to the dr in 2 weeks. Other than being extremely tired, no other symptoms. I am so worried!

Re: Measuring a week behind?
I know I ovulated late. If I didn't know, and I went by my last period I would be measuring a week behind as well. I think the symptoms also kick in more as time goes on. You may have just ovulated later than you realized

Re: Measuring a week behind?
I ovulated on CD 20. So I knew that we couldn't go by LMP. They measured and it correlated with my O date. Do you know when you ovulated?

I don't know when I O'd. I never got a + on the OPK for some reason.

Re: Measuring a week behind?
When you date a pregnancy based on LMP (last menstrual period), they assume that you O'ed on CD 14. But such a small percentage of women O on that specific day - like, under 10%. The cycle I got pg, I O'ed on CD 19 or 20 (I was going to a fertility specialist so I'm 100% sure), so if you went by my LMP, it would have looked like my baby was measuring a week behind too. It doesn't matter when your last AF started; it matters when you ovulated.
Oh, and I never had any symptoms my first 8 or 9 weeks except for being tired. I was worried too, but when I told my doctor that I didn't have any symptoms, she just laughed at said, "Oh, you will!"
Good luck and sticky dust to you!

Re: Measuring a week behind?
When i went for my first sono, I thought I was 9 weeks based on my LMP...my original due date was 2/1/12
turns out when they did the sono, the baby measured at like 8w2d...so I ovulated 5 days later than "normal" and the due date pushed back to 2/6/12

Re: Measuring a week behind?
Yup, I measured a week behind. I think I just ovulated late or had my dates wrong for last period. I was worried as well but everything was fine. My doc said not to worry.

Re: Measuring a week behind?
I measured a week behind the whole pregnancy. I am now 32 weeks. Lets just say that I hope they are right otherwise we will have another 39 week pregnancy.
