Re: Oil contracts

I am doing the same thing today. I called:
General - they offered a fixed price at $3.59 and a cap price of $3.89 and a credit of $100 on your first delivery. The service contract was $139 for the year.

Marran - they only offered me a fixed price at $3.39 (I didn't ask about a cap) with a service contract for $143.

I am still waiting to hear back from Slomins, and Romanelli. I called Meenan and when I told them that my previous contract was with Petro they told me they could not help me because Petro is a sister company

Re: Oil contracts

Make sure you tell Slomins to stop delivering oil because they can deliver it at market (expensive) rates.

Re: Oil contracts

when we moved, we signed with Perillo Brothers since that's who the previous owners used and we have an ANCIENT burner. but we actually like them a lot. we locaked in at a cap at 4.10 back in May 2011 (barf) but we just got a fill up and paid the 3.69/gallon. we also pay monthly at the cap so they just deduct from our balance. our service plan was free since we were new customers (i think).

Re: Oil contracts

you may also want to to consider COD fuel. Companies that deliver oil for cash payments. There are no contracts, but the prices are a bit less. HTH
