Potty training advice
My ds just turned 3 and I've been trying to potty train since the summer. He wears pull ups to school and we would try to practice when he gets home by putting him in underwear. Long story short....I know he gets it...knows what to do. I just don't think he is ready....whatever needs to click to make him WANT to do it hasn't clicked. So do I just give it a rest for a little while....both him and I are getting frustrated and it's going nowhere. Only problem is his preschool wanted the kids potty trained before enrollment and I have already had to go up there and change him twice ..for poop. They haven't said anything to me yet but I'm worried that they will if it keeps happening.

Re: Potty training advice
My friend's DS just got kicked out of preschool b/c he's not potty trained and had a few poops at school. The school was aware of the situation and went from being supportive to not allowing him back until he's potty trained. I think it's terrible b/c some kids just aren't ready at 3.
Has he had any success on the potty? What methods are you using for potty training? Are you having him sit on the potty every 30-60 minutes? Are you giving him rewards when he uses the potty? Is preschool doing anything to encourage using the potty?
