BTDT Moms sleep issues...
So the girls have never really been wonderful sleepers to begin with but they are getting better. Sophia still needs to be rocked for the most part to sleep but I am trying to wean her off of that it's going ok...Abbie was my good sleeper, you could put her down awake and she would put herself to sleep, now that's changed. She fusses in bed and knocks the paci out of her mouth and then she is frantic for it but they aren't rolling/reaching around yet so I have to go back in there at least 20 times before she finally passes out with it! Now in the middle of the night when it falls out and she realizes it she wakes up! Last night from 2:00 a.m. till at least 6:00 this morning I was in there every half hour to hour putting it back in her mouth, I am losing my mind! Should I just take it away and deal with the suffering for a few weeks till she learns to self soothe or should I just stick it out till she can crawl around and find it on her own, but god knows when that will be?! Mind you all 3 kids (Reilly as well) sleep in the same room so I don't want her to really cry for fear she might wake the others. Any advise!?!?!?!? TIA

Re: BTDT Moms sleep issues...
I did a modified cry it out around 4.5 -5 months with DS with my peds permission. My DS could never keep the paci in and DD used it but never got really attached (she is a thumb sucker). Not sure how you feel about CIO but my twins share a room so when I did it, I set up the pack n play in another room and as soon Ds started to cry I picked him up and put him in pack n play and let him fuss. First night 10 min next night 5 the next nothing!
IMO I would bite the bullet and stop going in to put the paci in her mouth. It might be a rough couple of nights but it will be worth it in the end!
good luck and hang in there!
