We used to let our 3 cats sleep with us, but it became too much with all the fur and no leg room. They literally took up the entire bed and DH and I were getting pushed off in the middle of the night. So now, they're allowed to hang out until we're ready to go to bed. DH then gives them treats in the kitchen, and they go to their own pet beds for the night.

Our dog sleeps in our bed only in the morning. My DH gets up really early for work. When he leaves, the dog will come snuggle with me until DD wakes up. Once in a blue moon, he'll want to come up at night, but he seems to really like his own bed.

Never! My dog is cute and cuddly but DH and I feel very firmly that the bed is just for us. My dog isn't even allowed on the couch!

The thought of my dog walking in dirt and grass outside and going to the bathroom, and then laying in a place where I lay my head and eat (couch) just grosses me out.

I used to when she was still a puppy but then I realized I was loosing sleep because she liked to sleep in the middle of my legs or on the top of my pillow so I had to train her to sleep in her own bed. Best decision ever because I was finally able to sleep...until I got married and had to share my bed again

My dog sleeps with me, but I also sleep alone since I'm single. She is 12 lbs, but if she was a big dog I don't know if I would let her since I only have a full size bed.

I love how she cuddles with me at night, especially in the cold weather, shes like a little ball of heat

Most nights it's me, DH, the dog, and 2 cats..and oh yeah our DD comes in too at times..good thing we have a king!

Not sure if you'll wind up with the cat by your feet! At least one of our cats sleeps with us each night...they prefer to sleep on our heads, pillows, and under the covers with us.


Linus is a 50lb lap dog who loves to sleep in between DH and I. DH goes to work very early in the AM and Linus moves to his pillow once he leaves so I wake up to kisses from my puppy! And we have a rule that he is aloud under the comforter but not under the blanket and sheet. He's pretty good about it!

Absolutely! My Lilah keeps my legs warm at night. But the cat is usually annoying so we dont let her.

Yup, and I love it! I like waking up to find them curled up next to us! Especially when I get up to find DH still sleeping and our older cat snuggled RIGHT up to his back sleeping.

We pretty much let Darwin sleep wherever he wants. In the summer he sleeps with me bc I'm closer to the AC and in the winter he curls up with DH bc DH throws off a ridiculous amount of heat. He also has a doggy bed in our room and the living room but lately he has been leaving us to go sleep on the bed in the guest room...

My baby is all grown up and wants his own room!

We dont but that is bc one is 70lbs and the other is 13. They would take over the bed and leave no room for us

yes thats why i am a fanatic about the anal gland thing and the empty stomach .. Dont want throw up or A$$ juice in my bed DD is right there with Lola.. DH sleeps like a log could care less..
