I just wanted to post that LIJ Cohen's Center has a special needs day at their Pediatric Dentist

not sure if others have trouble with their LOs going to the dentist.
While it was my older son that went, I was amazed how well and calm and patient they spoke to him, despite HUGE anxiety.

I think it was a Wednesday.
Ds had gas, numbing gel, and then Novocaine. He stilled screamed (and he is my typical kid), but I was impressed how they handled it.

Is the dentist right at the hospital? Sorry for all the questions. My child needs dental work, but needs to be sedated. It's something like $250 for every 15 minutes of anesthesia through the dental office. I'm looking for alternatives and if it's in a hopsital, the insurance would pay for it they have said.
