Re: i want to scream
I know how you feel. I just switched insurances because I had no coverage before. This new one only covers a limited amount of money, and when that runs out, I'm on my own and we can't afford mutliple IUIs or IVF. I think we'd have to stop trying....
But I believe you said in another post that the problem came up in DHs SA...if that's the case, I don't think any amount of pills for you would do the trick. I think he needs to go to a doctor and try some options to help him--those might not be as expensive and trying an IUI or IVF.

Re: i want to scream
maybe get a 2nd opinion for the fertility issues...are you charting? that might help. You can have a sperm analysis done and some insurances may cover that. Most insurance will cover the diagnosis of the fertility problems...maybe go further that route? You can also apply for grants to help cover costs.

Re: i want to scream
Like I said to you in a previous post. I would first seek out help with DH's issue, since thats known. A good urologist will be able to help tell you what you can do , or what your chances naturally are. That should be your first step before jumping to IUI/IVF In my opinion.
My RE wouldnt even continue IUIS unless DH was seen by a specialist to avoid "Wasting time".
He may have a physical reason for a low count, or a vitamin deficiny that can be resolved without fertility treatments.
If you find out his issue is not fixable, then you can get a better idea of what treatments will work best for you, without spending money on countless IUI's that may not work.
What insurance do you have and what company do you work for ( you can FM if needed)...I work in insurance and may be able to offer some advice.

Re: i want to scream
I was on clomid and was ovulating regularly. My issue was not having enough or any progesterone to conceive (determined by blood test). Not sure if this helps.

Re: i want to scream
I feel the same way b/c my insurance doesnt cover any infertility. HOwever, they do cover dr. visits and diagnostics. YOu should check that out. Have you ever had a HSG?
Feel better!
