"LITTLE FEVER" DOSAGE
My twins had their first round of shots, and my pedi told me to give them 0.8 ml of Tylenol, but it's been recalled, so i bought Little Fevers, but it has different dosage.
What did you give your 2 month old, that weighs 10 lbs.
TIA!!!

Re: "LITTLE FEVER" DOSAGE
Infant Tylenol doesn't exist anymore... Just go by the weight or age on the bottle...

Little Fevers says under 2 ask Dr.
My ped gave me a chart. 6-11 lbs = 1/2 dropper

Re: "LITTLE FEVER" DOSAGE
I can't post a link from my phone but here is a website that explains the old dosage and new dosage
http://www.babycenter.com/acetaminophen
On that page there is a link for a dosage chart. For 6-11 pounds the dosage is 1.25 ml. For 12-17 pounds its 2.5 ml which is what they say is equivalent to the old dosage of 0.8 ml
hth!!!

Re: "LITTLE FEVER" DOSAGE
I asked a pharmacist about this and they told me to throw out Little Fever and buy a different kind of tylenol.

Why?? They are all changing to the new dosage according to my ped to be more consistant and to avoid overdosing. And tylenol brand hasn't been made for infants since the recall as far as I know.
