WW 2012
Hey, Just curious if anyones Daily Points on WW changed? Mine went down to 27...not necessarily unhappy about it (somedays i find that i have left over points, and kind of force myself to eat so i use them up like they recommend)... For anyone that changed...are you gonna try the new DPV or stick to 29?

Mine went down to 28and I'm going to use that instead of the 29. Hopefully it'll help me lose a little faster!

Re: WW 2012
Mine stayed the same but I finally took off that I was bfing/supplementing so I went from 35 to 29! Ugh. I think I will be over every day, 29 seems so little.

Mine went down to 26. I'm going to see how I do with it. I'll probably end up going a few over. I was able to do it today.

Re: WW 2012
It only affects those who are at 29 points. Some may stay at 29, others will drop to 28, 27 or 26. They said as long as you meet your health guidelines and eat 26 points you can do that..but if you are fine with your weight loss at 29 you can stick with 29 no matter what etools tells you. Mine automatically updated on etools...i think i might stick to 29 but if i have a day where i have 2-3 points left over i won't force myself to eat anything

I just checked etools and mine went from 29 to 26 too. I wonder how they came up with this and WHY they made this change. Funny, when I started the new program 2 mths ago, I questioned on this board, how I could get free fruit, and go UP to 29 pts, and get 49 bonus pts.
Makes me wonder if they realize the plan has too much food? However, I cant complain. I had been losing about 2 lbs a week, more than I ever did on the old plan per week. So it seemed to be working for me. I will try to go down to 26 but it may be hard. But I will try to see if it somehow makes my results even better. I NEVER have pts left over, so I dont have that issue for sure.
Did anyone leaders say WHY they made this change and how they came up with the changes?
eta- I found this and it seems to explain alot of it.

Re: WW 2012
basically my leader said it had to do with concerns people made..and that some people could just do it on lower points...and would obviously lose more weight faster. I'm content with my weight loss with 29 points...maybe ill play it by ear and try 27 for a week...honestly it would probably just be me cutting out a cup of coffee a day haha

I am already lifetime but since I am over goal, I guess I still have to pay until I come within goal range again.

About this... does anyone know what happens when you meet goal if you are only an online subscriber? Is it still free etools? I've always wondered about this (although I am far from goal!).

Re: WW 2012
I have not been to the meeting yet to learn about the changes. Did the point values of foods change too, or just the daily allotment?

Re: WW 2012
Just the daily allotment...but only effects those who were currently at 29 points. No food point changes, and fruit it still zero :)
