Maternity Leave/Unemployment
Does anyone know what happens if after you are ready to come back from unpaid maternity leave, there is no position available for you at your current job?
Would you be able to collect unemployment at that time?
ETA:
I dont qualify for FMLA bc my company employs less than 50 people. Im an attorney, the position may be terminated bc of a potential merger.

What do you do?
If you're laid off, you should be eligible for unemployment.

I believe you would be eligiblle for unemployment if you were still considered an active employee.
