? for those who use or have used Nutramigen formula
It says on the canister not to warm because it could affect the LGG levels.. so my question is, what do you ladies do; give a bottle to them right out of the refrigerator? That seems too cold to me.. I can't do RTF b.c I can't gage when DC is going to wake up for a feeding.
Does anyone know the answer to this?

Room temp water on the counter, and made the bottles as needed. It was not as convenient, but oh well.

Ds was on Nutramigen for a year. We warmed it up every single time and had no issues. I must be a terrible mother because I never even thought to read the can!!

OMG me either! I never knew this - I am so disappointed with myself, I had NO IDEA.... I have had DD on this since July, so for the past 5 months I have been warming it.....
I guess I will have to use room temp water
thank you for posting this.

Not convenient is right! I can't make my 16 oz at a time now :( I guess I can use RT bottled water right? I have been boiling water way in advance and letting it sit for awhile until it's luke warm and then making the bottle.
Bottled water should be okay correct?

I read somewhere I think on babyenter that the Enflora LGG (probiotic) was recently added to the formula. I am not sure how recent. The older formula did not have it and you were able to warm it. This newer version they say not to. It is annoying especially when I am at my wits end already with this colic now I can't prepare my bottles in advance and stick them in the fridge.

It's been working for your baby right? I would not worry.. I think this probiotic is just an added benefit.

Re: ? for those who use or have used Nutramigen formula
we either pre-make the bottles, and give it to her cold (never bothers her), or just use room temp, and make bottles as needed.

Re: ? for those who use or have used Nutramigen formula
You can warm the formula but not over 100 degrees I believe - b/c it will kill the probiotic...

Re: ? for those who use or have used Nutramigen formula
i called enfamil and asked them! the very nice lady at 1800 baby 123 told me you can heat it but not past 100 degrees or something.
my dd was a disaster when it was cold, and my dh and i were a disaster having to make it each time.
call enfamil, you will be relieved! :)
