what is wrong with people!?!
Im downstairs in my office building and talking to one of the custodians....shes talking about the holidays and her kids and then asks me when im having kids. no one at works knows im ttc and its never a fun thing to talk about so i just laugh and say not yet why are you telling me im getting fat? and her response is...well a little and puts her hands on her hips/thighs showing me thats where i am gaining weight!
really was that necessary?!?!?!
just needed to vent

this happens to me once a month at least. but just so you know in some cultures it's totally ok to comment on weight gain, especially between women. gaining weight is supposedly a "good" thing- signifies that you're well off and can afford food! of course i dont agree with it and it makes me feel like crap but at least understanding that they dont see it as a bad thing makes me feel a little better
