We don't have a Ford Edge but we did test drive one when were looking at SUV's. We found it wasn't as smooth on the road as some of the others we were looking at.

i loooove my Ford Edge. I find it to be a very smooth ride. perfect amount of space.
i driven ford escapes and hated them, space sucks to me, ride isnt that great compared to the edge.
I highly reccomend them. i would get another one in a heart beat and i this is my 5th car in about 9 years and i have never thought that about any of them!

love my ford edge, my dh loves it better than his range rover
i find it to have a very smooth ride
very comfortable and roomy, lots of trunk space, i have a double stroller back their and still have room for all my groceries
my only complaint and i find this with lots of cars is the sync which is when you talk to the car to set up navigation or make a call, i usually have to say it twice but i honestly think its me cause this happens to me with most cars, it must be my brooklyn accent lol

Had a 08 Edge for 3 years.. love the car. considered keeping it but we wanted more leg space and got a Flex. The 11/12 Egdes are smooth as hell but i didnt see a reason to trade my old Edge for a newer Edge. The new Explorer is the same car as the Edge, just different body shape which i like better.
Sync isn't perfect. Much better then what it was. I really only use it for the phone to dial calls. If you need a referreal for a dealership (if you are out east) let me know. Can working on getting you a good deal.

Just got a 2012 edge Friday!! I LOVE it. I had the escape before this. The edge has so much more room and the ride is so smooth

We have an '11 and love it. It's my first non-car and I have to say I'm happy with it. I don't find the ride to be bumpy. It had everything we were looking for and we were really amazed by the quality of a Ford (we have a BMW and swapped my Infinity for the Edge).

we had it and while it was great at first it started giving us problems towards the end of our lease (3 years) the transmission started to slip which i heard is a common problem with ford.
for the price it was great - it was roomy - drove smooth had a lot of extras. i would consider leasing one again but not purchase one

My dad just purchased the Ford Edge not too long ago. The Radio is all on a touch screen/computerized device.. Well it has been crapping out on him (the radio suddenly switches channels, some touch screen buttons are not available for some strange reason). He went and complained to Ford to replace the system, not sure how it is going to pan out though.

As cool as the touch screen is, because of cost i decided to skip that and to be honest, regular buttons aren't that bad. You still have SYNC with the regular non touch screen version. I use my phone as a GPS map if need be otherwise, you can get turn by turn directions with SYNC (no map though) as well.

We have a 2010 Edge Limited (bought it new so we've had it for 2 years) and I have absolutely no complaints about it. We LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
