Feeding a dog
How many times a day do you feed your dog??
I have a chihuahua and she is 1 1/2 yrs old...And this past week she isnt eating both her meals (we feed her twice a day)...Do you think we may be able to try and only feed her once a day??

2x/day-Breakfast and dinner
She doesn't always eat breakfast (but it is left in her bowl all day). She does get plenty of treats throughout the day.
Do you think she's bored of her food? Sometimes that can happen.

This could be it. My dogs recently started doing this and it was very unlike them. They have voracious appetites, so I was a little concerned. But they were taking treats and table scraps without hesitation. I switched their food to Beneful and now they usually eat the entire bowl in one sitting.
But if that's not it, I wouldn't try feeding her only once a day, but just feeding her a little less at each meal. HTH!
