What heartworm meds is your dog on?
We started out with Sentinel then our vet didn't carry that anymore and now carries Trifexis. Check 1800 PetMeds online and it's not much cheaper than the cost from the vets office.
What heartworm medication do you give your dog? And any particular reason you go with that kind?

We use Interceptor for heartworm and Frontline for flea and tick. Both are just what my vet recs.

my dogs get interceptor as well. It was recommended to me by our vet too and it not only prevents heartworms but also protects against roundworms, whipworms, & hookworms. I don't know if other products prevent more than heartworms. I know my older dog used to get heartguard.

We use Heartgard for worms and Frontline for fleas/ticks. I buy the Heartgard from the vet - I think it's like $45 for 6 months.
