Re: 7.5 month food ideas

DD just turned 7 motnhs and here is her eating schedule...

Breakfast - one jar of fruit and bowl of oatmeal cereal, 5 ounce bottle

Lunch - one jar of meat and one jar of veges, which she doesn't like so only eats half, 5 ounce bottle

Dinner - one jar of fruit and bowl of rice cereal, 5 ounce bottle

I also give her Yogurt Melts, but only 1 or 2 a day.

Re: 7.5 month food ideas

DD is 8 months as of last week. She is a GREAT eater and has been since 4.5 months. She is on the smaller side so I have been encouraging her to eat whatever she is interseted in so long as it meets the guidelines recommended for an infant. So far she hasn't had dairy yet since our ped has suggested waiting until 9 months. Here is her eating schedule:

Breakfast - oatmeal and stage 2 jar or pouch of fruit.

Lunch - jar of veggie or veggie/fruit mix (I plan on adding a baby yogurt once she is give the green light for dairy)

Dinner - jar of meat/veggie mix and second jar of veggie/fruit mix. (I am moving her up to the chunky stage 3 jars at 9 months)

She also snacks on puffs and baby mum mum sticks (one of her favorites). I have that baby mesh feeder too and I put banana, pear and canteloupe in it.

We also have been giving her table food when she is done with each meal. She LOVES anything she can pick up and feed to herself. I've given her little tiny pieces of strawberry, watermelon, baked potato, swordfish, sweet potato, carrots, turkey - pretty much anything we are eating thats soft enough for her to chew but easy for her to pick up. It's a bitter sweetness bc she is so eager to try anything we are eating, but at the same time we can't eat anymore in front of her without making sure we have something she can share with us. I have always been a picky eater though and I don't want her to be that way so I am more than willing to let her try as many new things as possible!

Hi BabyHopes!!! If you are talking about table food and snacks I have been feeding DS little pieces of cheese and baby yogurt. We just started eggs per the Ped so as soon as we rule out that as an allergy I am going to start with little pieces of what we eat (like pancakes, meatballs...) I have also been giving puffs but in little pieces. As for baby food he eats 3 meals a day of pretty much everything they make.
ETA: I also give little pieces of fruit like banana and sometimes pastina.
