Choosing Godparents
This may be a silly question, but here goes...did you or are you going to pick one set of godparents for the twins? Or are you/ did you pick godparents for each child thus coming up with a total of 4? TIA!!

Not sure if this will make sense - but we will probably choose 2 different people (godmother for our daughter, godfather for our son) to represent us in the church, but then will also ask our 2 friends (married) to be godparents to them both. Since they aren't our religion, they can't technically be church-named godparents, but wanted them there for sure.
So its kind of a mix of both options!

we just chose one set for both -i only have 2 brother and my older brother is my older son's god father so my younger brother and his wife got the twins
if we had more siblings i may have spilt it more but we just had 2

We chose one set for each child - DD is my sister and my brother in law DS is my Sister in law and my cousin (one from each side for each child)

My twins have the same godparents. I only have 1 sister and DH only has 1 brother and we only have one really close set of friends that we would want to ask. And since we knew we wanted at least one more after the twins we didn't want to "waste" our 4 people on the the twins. So they have our close friends and this baby will have my sister and brother-in-law.

They both have 4 Godparents because we are interfaith ... so they have the same 2 Jewish Godparents and the same 2 Catholic Godparents.

We chose separate godparents. We had too many people and didn't want to offend anyone, its almost a good thing we had twins so we made everyone happy !

We chose two sets of godparents. I looked at is my boys happen to share the same birthday, but if they were born a year apart we would have had different godparents for each. We have one set from DH's side and one from mine.

We had two sets. We have an older child and had already asked my sister and her husband to be her godparents. If we only had the twins, I would have been tempted to have them be godparents to both, but I'm thrilled with the people we chose.
