Does anyone have those foam eggcrate mattress things ?
Our bed is a horrible evil queen. We have one of those thin foam topper things on it now and still wake up feeling rickety and with knots and pains all over. Buying a new mattress is not an option right now-we will be buying one in the summer when we move If any of you have or have tried those egg crate mattress topper things, do they work? Is it worth the money?

I have one on a twin bed - it's a leftover from college.
It is actually very comfortable.
If your mattress isn't firm enough, it won't help that but it will make it more cushy.

This. I had one on my old queen from my single days. It definitely made it more comfortable. If the bed is sagging, it doesn't help much though.

We got a gel foam topper from Costco and it is really comfortable. Don't know how the egg crate ones are.

I don't know about the egg crate toppers, but we have a memory foam mattress topper that's about 2 or 3 inches thick and it's really comfortable.
