BTDT Moms --- symptoms right before labor came on?

Labor never came on for me with my first DD...doc scheduled a c-section because she measured big on the sonos and he didn't think I'd be able to deliver a 10lb baby.

This baby is measuring smaller and the doc is in support of me delivering naturally if I go into labor before my c-section date.

What were your symptoms RIGHT before labor came on...meaning...the few days leading up to it?

My only symptom was the loss of my mucus plug, which I lost over the course of a few days. Other than that-for me-NADA! I even went to the Dr. for a NST and exam in the afternoon and they told me I was not dilated at all, nothing was happening, and I went into labor about 6 hours later!

All I remember from my first, is I felt really crampy and no energy the day before. The night before I had a hard time sleeping and just felt a little weird. I woke up the next morning with contractions. Up until that point, I was nesting like crazy. I was 3cm dialted for 2 weeks. I lost my mucus plug while I was in labor.

I'm 39 weeks today and so far I already had a burst of energy last week. I have been having small contractions here and there, and lots of pressure. Not sure when I will be going into labor though. Just went to doctor today and I'm 2cm dialted.

Not sure if this is a real sign or not but I had tons of pressure down below. I sorta felt like the bay was going to fall out. Dh and I were walking around target about 12 hrs before my water broke and I told dh I was done. He thought I was really crazy but I just knew the bay was coming. When i got home from shopping I went to bed and as soon as I went to get up my water broke. I ended up delivering csec after 22 hrs of labor without dilating past 3cm.

I had a VBAC with Lauren. I went into labor on my own in my 38th week. The contractions just came on hard and strong! There was no mistaking them! Nothing before that, except I did have period cramping for like a week before that. I never put two and two together, but I am sure that was the first sign.

I did not lose my mucus plug, no bloody show, no water breaking, etc. Just a contraction and then that was it! They were tough, but I felt better once I got epidural, I felt great!

Less than 2 days before I went into labor my stomach went through a, ahem, cleanse if you will. Painful stomach cramps, and everything cleared out.

My mom had told me that this was a sign of oncoming labor (one of those things I didn't believe her about until it happened). But subsequently I have talked about it w/other friends and it seems pretty common.

Other than that nothing, despite the fact that in terms of dilation/effacement I was told from 37 weeks on I could go any day (ended up being late). Didn't lose my mucus plug, no braxon hicks, and they had to break my water at 9.5 cm.

I had zero symptoms and the all of a sudden my water broke. Sorta like in the movies

The night before, my stomach felt very heavy. It felt almost like when you have a stomach virus but I knew I didn't have one. I just didn't feel right. I remember being in Panera and thinking that maybe I shouldn't be there bc the heavy feeling was so awful. I also lost parts of my mucus plug starting a few days before.
