would you cancel your gyno appt if....
you were spotting?
i have an appt tomorrow afternoon and just started spotting  this is sooo annoying, ive been spotting in between each period and i never know when it will start or stop, part of the reason i wanted to go to the gyno. this was supposed to be my annual exam. should i cancel it and hope it stops by next week or just go and at least talk to the dr about all my issues?

i would go...if you arent having regular cycles it will be hard to pick a good time for you to go (and i know my dr books up fast so even if i may think its a good time, it doesnt mean i will be able to get an appt)
if its slight spotting, they may still even do the exam for you.
if you are unsure, call up and speak to the nurse and see what they want you to do.

If you're going to the dr BECAUSE you're spotting...and you're spotting now, then now is the perfect time to go. I definitely wouldn't cancel your appt. They've seen it all so a little spotting isn't anything to cancel over.

I would go. Obs are used to seeing women when they are in the middle of their period.

go and make sure you talk about the mid cycle spotting. I had it and it was caused by polyps.....it can be caused by many things

thank girls, i decided to go. my doctor was actually telling me they dont care if its just spotting...they have seen alot worse than a little blood  on a brighter note, they didnt find anything out of the ordinary that was causing my spotting. It could be my body adjusting to being off BCP. But if it happens next cycle i have to get a sonogram to see whats going on....ugh! i dont want a sonogram unless there is a baby to see

glad everything worked out. hopefully your body regulates and no need for more testing
