Disney experts - does this look good? any dinner recs?

So we are going to Disney in May for 5 days. My kids are 4 and 6 and it's there 1st trip. We will have tickets bought before hand - not a package - not Park Hopper.

This is my plan so far - does it look good?
Day 1- Arrive at MCO at 9:30am using DME to Bay Lake Towers - Have 5:30 reservations at Chef Mickeys - should we go to park for a little while?? I'm thinking AK but not sure if it is worth it and how to get there.
Day 2 - MK all day - need dinner recs
Day 3 - DHS and have Ohana at 6:25
Day 4 - MK - have Cinderella Breakfast at 8:05 am - need dinner rec again - want to watch parade and fireworks this night too
Day 5 - Epcot - dinner at Biergarten 6:10 will stay to watch Illuminations

I thinking about dinner in Dowtown Disney or at one of the other hotels - but not sure which day or how to get there easily. Any help you guys can offer I would love. I did register for TouringPlans and checked the crowd calendar so the days we are at the parks are maximized.

You might not be able to check into your room until 3pm, so it's probably a good idea to find something else to do before CM's. I personally would hit the MK since it's right there, then go to CM's for dinner.

I would do Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner at the MK if you are looking for sit downs.

I would change things around a little bit

Day 1- Arrive at MCO at 9:30am using DME to Bay Lake Towers - Have 5:30 reservations at Chef Mickeys - should we go to park for a little while?? I'm thinking AK but not sure if it is worth it and how to get there.

**The transportation time for you to get to Anima Kingdom and back (by bus) would make this not worth it. With a flight getting in at that hour, I still don't count on getting to the parks until 2. If anything, I would walk over to MK, and walk back before dinner. OR just check out the hotel

Day 2 - MK all day - need dinner recs

** I would skip MK this day and do it the following day. It will be MUCH quicker to get to 'Ohana from MK than from DHS. You want to maximize park time. This night you can watch Wishes either from the beach at the Poly or TotWL (if you're a member staying on pts)

I would do DHS and see Fantasmic! Prime Time 50's is a fun choice. You can see if there are any Fantasmic! packages left for the others

Day 3 - DHS and have Ohana at 6:25
I would recommend Magic Kingdom on this day for transportation reasns

Day 4 - MK - have Cinderella Breakfast at 8:05 am - need dinner rec again - want to watch parade and fireworks this night too

Do you want a sit down dinner inside Magic Kingdom? The Plaza is casual, but good.

Day 5 - Epcot - dinner at Biergarten 6:10 will stay to watch Illuminations

I thinking about dinner in Dowtown Disney or at one of the other hotels - but not sure which day or how to get there easily. Any help you guys can offer I would love. I did register for TouringPlans and checked the crowd calendar so the days we are at the parks are maximized

***To get to a meal at a hotel, you can get a bus at any park or at Downtown Disney

The one weird glitch is that you CANNOT get a bus from the parks to Downtown Disney or vice versa, so just go to the nearest hotel and bus it from there.

As far as transportation in general goes, Bay lake Tower is about an 8 minute walk from the MK gates. You can also take the monorail to MK. You can take the monorail to the Grand Floridian (How about a character dinner at 1900 park Fare?) and the Polynesian (for 'Ohana).

For EPCOT you will transfer monorails at the TTC. I'd say that's the easiest.

DAK, DHS, and DTD will all be by bus.
